ABOUT
Mr. Keller is CEO of Keller Development Group, LLC (KDG) and oversees all investment activities including acquisitions, development, financing, equity, and asset management for the current KDG portfolio. The primary focus of KDG is single-student housing, married-student housing, conventional multi-family, and townhome rental properties.

Throughout his 20-year career, Mr. Keller has transacted and developed over $1.2 billion in multifamily and student housing assets for both private and public institutions. Markets include southern California, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and New Mexico. Student market experience directly includes Utah Valley University, BYU- Provo, BYU-Idaho, NAU, UNLV, and Weber State University. Mr. Keller served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Finance for 10 years at KIP, a private investment company and acquired $400MM+ in properties, secured $400MM+ in financing, and oversaw all major capital improvement projects for the portfolio. At BRE Properties, now Essex and a publicly traded multifamily REIT, Mr. Keller served as Development Manager and Investment Analyst. He directly managed $500MM+ or 1,426 units in multifamily development, overseeing all aspects of the process beginning with land selection, entitlement, design, construction, and lease-up.
Mr. Keller received a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance from Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business, a Master of Science in Real Estate from University of Texas, Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, with an emphasis in marketing from Westminster College. Since 2008, he has held the designations of CPM (Certified Property Manager) and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). Mr. Keller was awarded “Investment Associate of the Year” by BRE Properties. Personal interests include triathlons, mountain biking, snow skiing, and spending time with his wife and 4 children.
